Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 “Etch” Released
There are no words what i can tell you, excpet my favorite distro just got sleek and sleeker time after time. Back to early 2002 when i installed my first Debian with code name potato aka 2.2, I just impresed with the easy update and its big community.
The Debian Project has launched the Debian GNU/Linux version 4.0, codenamed etch, after 21 months of constant development. Debian GNU/Linux is a free operating system, which supports a total of eleven processor architectures and includes the GNOME, KDE, and Xfce desktop environments. It also features cryptographic software and compatibility with the FHS v2.3 and software developed for version 3.1 of the LSB. – SDA Asia
